KP6180 RAIN is a tiny desktop RAINRFID reader and writer with small size, fit for production line and work station management, access control, library and jewellery management.

KP6180 RAIN RFID Reader Desktop Reader UHF with integrated RFID UHF Reader – supports tags of Standard ISO 18000-6C EPC Class 1 Generation 2 and achieve reading ranges of up to 30 cm, compliant with ETSI (865 – 868 MHz) standards.

The Desktop Reader can work in Virtual COM Port mode (Full read and write access) or HID Mode (Read Only) users may retrieve data from the tag as keyboard emulation. The output may be set to various formats. The reader can read out serial numbers, along with information from user memory, as HEX or ASCII output format.

A user-friendly software development kit (SDK) and configuration tool for Windows operating systems is provided, as well as an operating-system-independent command protocol.
