The Chainway MR20 is an ultra‑lightweight wearable UHF RFID reader (64 g) built on a self‑developed module with Impinj E Series chips, ideal for high‑performance short‑range UHF applications in logistics, warehousing, retail and manufacturing.​

• Ultra‑compact design with dimensions of 50 × 62 × 19 mm and weight of 64 g (about 90 g with glove), designed to be worn comfortably on the hand, wrist or via lanyard.​
• Removable 1200 mAh battery charged via USB Type‑C (5 V / 1.5 A) with charging time of about 1 hour.​
• IP65 sealing, 1.5 m drop resistance to concrete and operating temperature range from -20 °C to +50 °C.​

UHF RFID performance

• UHF engine based on Impinj E Series with Impinj Gen2X support, EPC C1 GEN2 / ISO18000‑6C protocols and linear polarised antenna.​
• RF power up to 0.5 W (27 dBm, adjustable from +19 to 27 dBm) and read range up to 80 cm depending on tags and environment.​
• Optimised for fast, accurate close‑range reads in picking, sorting, inventory and short‑distance item identification workflows.​

Connectivity and indicators

• Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) 5.0 for connection to Android and iOS hosts via dedicated SDKs.​
• USB Type‑C port for charging and wired data transfer.​
• Multi‑colour LED indicators for battery and Bluetooth status: red while charging, blue when fully charged, solid green above 20% battery, flashing green below 20%, Bluetooth LED on/off to show pairing state.​
