The A1163 is the largest antenna in Times-7‘s new True NearField antenna series, as well as the largest RFID NearField antenna currently on the market with an area of ​​300 x 600 mm and a height of just 8.6 mm.

This antenna series is explicitly designed for applications that require the detection of “near zone only” tags or tags relating to metals, liquids or other difficult-to-handle materials.

With no interference from components far from the reading field and no surface dead spots, True NearField antennas provide reliable tag readings in a very confined reading area.

Thanks to the unique antenna design, which easily adapts to size, the True NearField antenna series is available in three sizes. In addition to the A1163 there is a medium version A1130 (300 x 300 mm) or the A1115 for an even more compact size of only 150 x 150 mm.
