The Chainway C63 is a rugged handheld mobile computer with a physical keypad, designed for intensive data collection in industrial, logistics and warehouse environments.​

• High‑performance platform with octa‑core 2.0 GHz CPU and UFS memory, built for mission‑critical applications and high‑volume scanning workflows.​
• Removable 6700 mAh main battery plus optional 5000 mAh pistol‑grip battery, with hot‑swap support, built‑in backup battery and pop‑out design for quick replacement without powering off the device.​

Ergonomics and durability

• Flexible keypad layout with 27/37/47 key options for frequent data entry, plus 2 side scan keys, 2 volume keys and 1 user‑defined key.​
• Rugged construction with IP67 sealing, 1.5 m drop resistance to concrete and 1000 × 0.5 m tumbles at room temperature, suitable for warehouses, production lines and harsh environments; a cold‑storage version is also available.​

Connectivity

• Wi‑Fi 6‑ready dual‑band 2.4G/5G with fast roaming (PMKID caching, 802.11r, OKC) and enterprise‑grade security including WEP, WPA/WPA2‑PSK and WPA3 options.​
• WWAN module supporting 2G/3G/4G on multiple bands, Bluetooth 5.0 and multi‑constellation GNSS (GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo) with internal antenna.​

Data capture, NFC and RFID

• Optional 1D/2D scan engines including Zebra SE4710/SE4750/SE4850/SE55/SE58 and Honeywell N6603/N6703/N6803FR, decoding all major linear and 2D barcodes, including international postal codes.​
• NFC at 13.56 MHz compliant with ISO14443A/B, ISO15693 and NFC‑IP1/IP2, supporting M1 cards, CPU cards and NFC tags with a typical read range of 2–4 cm.​
• Optional UHF RFID based on Impinj Gen2X for inventory and asset tracking; detailed RF parameters are provided in the dedicated UHF datasheet.​

Interfaces and development

• 4‑inch 800 × 480 display with multi‑touch support for glove and wet‑hand operation, plus integrated speaker, noise‑cancelling microphone and receiver.​
• Physical interfaces include USB Type‑C (USB 3.1, OTG, extended pogo pins), 1 Micro SIM slot and 1 TF slot; supported by the Chainway Software Development Kit with Java and Eclipse/Android Studio tools for smooth integration into enterprise systems.
